LOL! XD Man, I just finished saiunkoku and I agree with all the points above except…you forgot shuuei/seiran! There’s some really interesting shots with Shuuei leaning towards Seiran and it’s a close up! (just before Seiran’s swordsmanship is tested by the general) XD.

Well i actaully liked the anime series and i hope i see more of Ange and Zephel. I really think in my opinion you should be more optimistic and read more into the story. In other words don’t just rely on other peoples reviews it could be to your taste especially if you like Fushigi yugi or Harukanaru toki no nakade.

If one catches where these seven specials come from (they come from another well known game. A VERY well known game) is one that can master Leaf Mascot. I’d have to say, Leaf Mascot is the most broken character in the game when you know how to use it.

After the first sighting of Victor and the powering op of Kazuki I waited. I waited for the all conclusive super powered fight that i just KNEW was coming…thats when they went to the moon and I yelled out like ken “this is it!” However to my extreme dissappointment they showed one glimpse of the VK fight and that was it…..nothing special just his same old charging move (which was blockd)….sigh (-_-) the series was so promising but the whole too overly convenient happy endings for all thing killed it

There’s probably no such thing as “manservice” its just humor that the producer threw in. Most people should be mature enough to understand its nature. Its also a way to show that the characters are getting along because when Gouta compared sizes with Kazuki, it’s the beginning where he finally acknowledge Kazuki as a friend.

I don’t really have much of an opinion on the matter but I’d say the most likely choice was Tenma; I don’t like him, but he is the ‘lead male’, the same age as Akane and from the same world. Shimon is too much of a shota, Inori is still too hot-headed to settle down with a girl, Tomomasa is too much of a flirt, Yorihisa, Takamichi and Yasuaki are career guys and Eisen is that nice guy who never gets the girl.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head, aoboru, although FY and even Haruka have more of a plot than Angelique (actually, Haruka, Angelique and La Corda d’Oro are all based on dating sims by the same company so it’s no wonder they give off the same vibe).

When I see the picture and the synopsis, i constantly remember Harukanaru Toki no Naka de and Fushigi Yuugi (and maybe a bit of Saiunkoku Monogatari). Is this anime similar with those two animes, mainly in making a story of one single girl guarded by many handsome warriors? Very shoujo. But I like the shoujo anime, anyway :p

If you’ve already looked at all these walkthroughs, what are you asking me for? As far as I know, when my sister played FoMT she didn’t see all the heart events for Karen but I’m no expert on the game as Back to Nature is the only one I’ve personally played in depth as opposed to just assisting in her games.

In short, the walkthroughs know more than I do, but personally I would try just getting her to red heart. and go from there.

What game are you on? If it’s Back to Nature or Friends of Mineral Town you don’t need to worry about events, you just need to be at red heart and have bought the Blue Feather from the Supermarket (don’t buy it from Won, he offers it at 30x supermarket price, the swindler).

I agree with dudefallout. It was a great show and hardly below average (and we do have many average and below average one out there that go nowhere; take Tide Line Blue for example). Busou Renkin is fortunately not one of them. I was partway through Episode 8 when I chanced upon your thoughts and I almost gave up on the series. Thankfully, the storyline kept me rivetted. Admittedly, the ending was sort of contrived - but really, what’s wrong with an anime series that ends making you feel all warm inside and gives you the feeling that the good will come out ahead. Sort of like watching a violent episode of Ah! My Goddess. That’s my 2 cents worth.

We aired the first 4 episodes at Sci-Fi London film festival on Saturday May 5th to a sold out audience.
It’s a good show, with a nice balance between the fantastic & realistic.
I look forward to the DVD releases & have entertained myself with the ‘Shinsen-Subs’ fansubs in the meantime.

Recommended.

I haven’t played the DS version yet but I’ve read that even if you’re on red heart you need to have seen all the ‘romantic cut scenes’ for the girl you’re trying to marry. If you look at the marriage FAQ on GameFAQs it should help.

The series was good to me, it had an interesting start, making you think that the main character was going to die, but then by chance, the supporting lead saves him.

To me, Kazuki goes through so much in such a short span that most people would have broken down and most likely committed suicide, yet he kept his optimism.

He saved Homunculus familiars and took Tokiko from someone that only cares about fighting and killing anything having to do with Homunculi to someone that has so much more depth to her.

She went from being almost robotic to someone human in my mind. The proof of that is in episodes 24-26 when Kazuki goes to the moon to battle Victor and then comes back to the planet.

In all to me, the series is set up nicely for so much more to happen to it, and when it happens, I’ll be in the front of the line to see what happens, to me, this is a great anime.

AGTH on its own doesn’t do the translations, you need something like Atlas translation software too. There should be more help on that on Mastress Alita’s forums, which are linked in the FAQ.

Actually you’ll see a lot less of Raki as the story goes on. The flashback arc is going to be another couple of eps. (2.5 volumes in 4 episodes? Nice.) and at the pace the anime is going it seems like it’ll get to the arcs without distractions pretty quickly.

So there is hope at the end of the tunnel. ;)

Did you copy and paste “utaware-dve.exe” from the error message? If that’s the case, it may just be a simple typo and it will work if you change it to “utaware.dvd.exe” If that’s not it, maybe you installed the game to some other directory- I know I’m just stating the obvious but I can’t think what else it would be.
